Bond
Hey there, Just curious if Affinity supports PostScript fonts. I have a bunch in my Home > Library > Fonts folder that aren’t showing up in Affinity, but show up fine in Photoshop.
Bond
Never mind. Looks like Affinity requires a full Mac restart after fonts are added to one’s Font folder.
Staff MEB Posted August 7, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 7, 2015 Hi Bond, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) There's no need to restart the program. Just go to menu Affinity Designer ▹ Preferences, Miscellaneous tab and press the Reset Fonts button to force Designer reload them. The-Design-Guy
I'm having the same problem in 2019. Postscript fonts activated in FontExplorer X (v7.0) do not show up in Affinity Designer. OpenType fonts DO show up. Clicking the Reset Fonts button does not help, restarting does not help. Surprisingly (to me anyway), the FontExplorer activated fonts do appear in Affinity Publisher even in the Designer persona. It appears that for the time being I will be doing all my design work in Publisher… Quote Mid-2011 iMac 27, 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
