MP Pebworth
Hey! This is the fourth time I've hit this error. I have a larger file (38.5 gb) of scientific images. It opens and saves fine. I'm trying to reformat the layout, and remove half the content (shrink it in size). I can open the original file and save it under a new name just fine. But after removing half the content and reformating, I hit an error when it saves. It tells me "Failed to load document :" with the subtext "Access to the document's file was lost while performing initial loading. \n\nThe document must now be closed" The document closes, and then when I try to open it again, it says that there's a recovery file I can open. I try to open the recovery file, and it tells me that the file is truncated and can't be open. Same error for opening up the file that was saved. This has happened 4 times in a row. SPaceBar
Hi @MP Pebworth Welcome to the Affinity forums. I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues. Are you able to upload a screen recording so I can see what is happening? Can I also ask where the file is kept please? Is it on your internal HD / an external HD / cloud storage etc.
