Probably less so than the task of actually writing and using the (likely/inevitable) xslt to transform any xml that APub exports so it would be usable in ID. As Serif is dealing with .idml for import, I would think an .idml export would be a more efficient method to go. But I am unsure Serif is interested in such a thing. VectorCat Posted June 27, 2020 Author Share Posted June 27, 2020 The scenario I’m envisioning - actually dealing with - while working at home is that we use adobe at work, but it’s a resource pig, and simply not as good as affinity products. I’d prefer to work in Affinity at home, yet be able to save out something which ID can open for our eventual return to the office. If I had my way, we’d simply switch over to the Affinity line-up. This is something that most likely will never work. Interchange formats (like IDML or to some extent PDF) may be OK for a one time transfer as a starting point for a redesign of a publication. But a seamless back and forth workflow is per definition due to their two different feature sets close to impossible. d.
