Andrea Chioato
I have done a lot of troubleshooting - found out that the issues disappear when I reset the compression from compressed into compressed lossless raw..Guess its important info for the Nikon users... AFaison84
I'm having the same issue... When I load a RAW (NEF) file take with my Z6 it just shows up as a black screen. _DSC0005.NEF Edited August 29, 2020 by AFaison84

AFaison84
@Andrea Chioato that compression technique is that in the camera or in the software? My issue is also on the Mac I do not know if that makes a difference... Edited September 1, 2020 by AFaison84 Added text
gabrielm
Sorry, opened another topic for this as a mistake. Still not fixed in the latest builds. Can be reproduced using any NEF file from the Z series like any of the following images available here:https://www.dpreview.com/sample-galleries/8048435192/nikon-z6-sample-gallery/0151118616 Using the Apple (Core Image RAW) engine on the Mac does fix the issue. Sadly though I won't have access to a Mac later on so fixing this in he Windows version would be greatly appreciated.
gabrielm
Converting the NEF files to DNG using the Adobe DNG Converter also fixes the problem. Colors seems to be slightly different and less saturated after conversion but as a plus it also seems to result in a smaller file.
