myarro
Using Publisher 1.8.3. Created a PDF on a Mac. When I print the PDF, some of the characters are randomly dropped. There is no rhyme or reason to what gets dropped or when it gets dropped. For example, One sentence has a number of words with both a uppercase "A" and lowercase "a" that appear correctly in the PDF, but when I print, one of the "a" is replaced with an empty box. Using the Georgia font. Any ideas. I have already swapped out the font once, and do not want to do it again without figuring out what is going on. Joachim_L
Broken font? Maybe you should try to disable the Subset option in the export dialougue hidden under "More". In the end hard to tell without getting a hand on the document and the font. Perhaps some Mac specialists here can tell you more? myarro
Font manage shows that it has issues, but that still doesn't explain why sometimes a character does print and why sometimes it doesn't. I am going to try your suggestion and the convert to curves option as well--although that removes the ability to search the document. Thanks.
