NúriaB
Hi, I have a problem with Affinity Publisher 1.8.3 in macOS Catalina 10.15.2. The bullets and numbering panel, both in the English and Spanish version, lacks two very important fields: "Level"* and "More", the field that we need to add special characters. I can solve it through the text paragraph style, but equally annoying and I think it is an application error. Thanks. *To be precise, the label "Level / Niveles" appears but not its field. GarryP
Welcome to the forums. Just make your Paragraph Panel a bit larger horizontally and you should see those items. P.S. If you change your forum name to something other than your email address it will be harder for spam bots to grab your contact details. NúriaB
Hi Garry! Thanks but, unfortunately it's not as simple as you say. No matter how wide I make the panel, texts appear incomplete and the fields are missing. Thanks a lot for your advice about my user name! You are totally right. GarryP
Oh, now that is strange. I wonder if it’s a Mac-only problem as I don’t get that on my Windows machine (see attached video). I’ve never seen this before in the Affinity applications so maybe someone else has better advice. 2020-06-25 09-01-02.mp4
NúriaB
I see. I hope It can be solved in future versions if it's a Mac-only problem. It's really annoying. Thanks a lot Garry. Have a great day.

I got it to work after doing a Clear User Data and then the next restart of Publisher had it back again. Edit to add: It seems to be a problem with my choice of Light User Interface, switching to Dark (which I dislike) clears it up. Staff MEB Posted June 25, 2020 Staff Share Posted June 25, 2020 Hi NúriaB, Welcome to affinity Forums We are already aware of this issue however we still don't know what triggers it/how to replicate and as such weren't able to fix the problem. If you happen to stumble across a way to reproduce it consistently please let us know. As Old Bruce suggested a Reset (press and hold control while launching the app then leave just the first three check boxes ticked and press Clear) should fix the issue for you for now. My test only worked for the first time I started Publisher, subsequent starts returned the problem. Staff MEB Posted June 25, 2020 Staff Share Posted June 25, 2020 Yes, it doesn't fix the issue permanently but there's no better option/solution for now. [EDIT] Thread moved to the Publisher Bugs found on MacOS section [/EDIT]. Old Bruce 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
thomaso
Just fyi: I had this occurrence in an earlier beta for some weeks, oddly but fortunately it went away by itself without any app reset.
