Dark Vs Light Interface And Masks

Recommended Posts

I tried the Light interface and noticed something odd. In the Dark interface, if you paint black onto a mask it appears black on the layer thumbnail. If you do the same thing with the interface set to light, the mask thumbnail will appear gray instead of black. Am I missing something?

Have you tried using the Colour Picker on the mask area in both Light and Dark modes and checking to see if the colour values are different or whether the black on the thumbnail just looks different because of the contrast difference to the rest of the UI?

In the image above, the squares marked A and B are the same shade of grey.

Hi @JimGoshorn,

Apologies for the delayed response here and many thanks for your report!

I can confirm that I've replicated this issue here, with different (but still incorrect) results on both Mac and Windows.

I'll be logging this with our developers now, and it should be fixed in a future update :)

Please note -

I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time.

Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible.

Many thanks!
