Is there a fix in the works or can I get my $$ back?

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @melts. :)

You would have to ask Apple about getting your money back, but Serif can’t work on a fix unless and until they can reproduce the crash. Which Affinity app were you using, and what were you doing when the crash occurred?

I’m using Affinity Photo for Ipad  version 1.8.3

Tried to open photo in Photos and it crashed on all attempts.

Copied photo to clipboard and tried to import it and it crashed.

ios. 13.5.1. ipad 6th gen.  88gb free

Hope that helps and it gets fixed otherwise it’s useless.

Hello!

I’ve been using Affinity photo for quite sometime now, but recently I’ve been encountered a problem in the IPad version application. Every time I open a saved file in my IPad, the app suddenly crashed. I can find any solution to this problem. I’ve spent a lot of time editing this photo. I hope that the Affinity Team can help solve this problem. Any other files work just fine but not the one I’ve been working on lately.

Sorry to have raised an alarm.

@melts Hi melts, no issue with posting here when you are having a problem with the app, for whatever reason.
I would though, suggest providing as much information as possible when describing what is happening, even including screen recordings or screen shots. Also, keep in mind that international time zones and Covid work constraints mean you may not get an immediate response from moderators. Other forum members residing in your Timezone may be able to help earlier so the help provided is not always 'official'.
Many issues are easily resolved by adjusting settings in iPad (eg. crashing when accessing Photo library is often the result of iOS not providing read write access to AP). These sorts of issues are easily fixed. If settings are ok the next thing to try is hard resetting your iPad. That clears ram and can resolve certain issues. If that doesn't work, post here.

It also helps if you don’t post the same issue in several threads. Mods don’t like us doing that. 😁
