Carson
I have searched and searched but can’t see a solution if one exists. There is indeed a grid overlay in the Photo persona when working with tiff or jpeg in the Documents menu. Excellent but nothing of the sort is visible in the Raw persona. This is crucial when correcting perspectives. So I’m wondering if it’s available in Raw. While on the raw subject I shoot DNG and wonder what image file I’m working after I hit the raw develop button and the image is sent to the Photo persona. Somewhere it was said jpeg. Is it to my advantage to save a 16 bit tiff after processing an iPhone dng? Edited June 22, 2020 by Carson

Pretty sure it’s just pixels being manipulated in a 'proprietary' format. You get to choose another format (tiff, png, jpeg etc) only when exporting. 7 hours ago, Carson said: There is indeed a grid overlay in the Photo persona when working with tiff or jpeg in the Documents menu. The approach by Serif is to have the adjustments made when working in the Photo Persona. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Carson
Thanks for the information. That confirms the raw persona grid availability. It eases my mind over image files too. I viewed a video tutorial from Affinity Revolution with Ezra Anderson before buying. He hit on a few features and didn’t mention some of the important ones (there is so much more to it). At the end of the video he says that once you hit the develop button that the image was jpeg and could be worked in the Develop Persona. That didn’t sound correct to me. So thanks for setting that straight. Edited June 23, 2020 by Carson
