tylerdca
I have a file, export as PNG or PDF is pretty well instant, but export as EPS has been going for minutes with seemingly no progress. The file is about 5mb. I've been trying the standard EPS (Export) settings. 2020_Map.afdesign Edited June 22, 2020 by tylerdca
Staff Sean P Posted June 23, 2020 Staff Share Posted June 23, 2020 Hi tylerdca, Thanks for the file - it did eventually export for me but did take a good while (around 15minutes). I'll get it passed on to development to see if there is anything that can be done!
sbgraphic
Hi, just to comment effectively my (very) old mac pro tooks 100% processor power and still could not export it after 12 min… I tried to delete the "background group containing the image layer" and it was much better, there is something in that group that causing the issue (not the image itself). But sorry the main reason of my comment is I am curious why still using .eps when .pdf has much more to offer ? I do not use that format since around year 2000... Best to all. Old Bruce
Your file has a layer which is cropped from a 400 x 300 inch larger file.It is the bottommost layer Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
