Export PNG not matching image

Recommended Posts

When I export PNG, it does not export correctly as per document, yet when I export PDF it is correctly exported.

See attached PNG, you will see shard with in middle of outlined shape in bottom half of image, then see PDF attached that displays correctly with no shard.

Please advise on this and if it can be fixed.

The work around I am using is exporting as PDF, then opening PDF in Apple Preview to export there as PNG whereby no shard is (in error) "created".

I can send original Affinity Designer file if required.

I am using Affinity Designer 1.8.3 on an Apple Macbook Air from early 2015, using Operating System MacOS Catalina 10.15.5.

Let me know if any other information and or files I can provide to assist with possibly fixing this.

The Designer file is required so we can try to figure out why the PNG export is bad and possibly provide a solution.

Thanks, I have sent this via link in message sent by SPaceBar one hour ago about this on this topic.
