dgwebs
Hello all, For my work, I use Adobe Dreamweaver and Fireworks. I started using Fireworks years ago and never made the switch to Photoshop or Illustrator for web graphics. But because of their very high monthly subscription fees I will be using only Dreamweaver so I need to find a replacement for Fireworks. I've done a lot of research and it seems Affinity Photo is a good choice for me. However, I know I may have to eventually use both Photo and Designer. However, to start with I will be purchasing Photo. I want to make sure that Photo will allow me to add text to photos. From what I've seen it appears I can. Are there any vector tools included in Photo or is that strictly the domain of Affinity Designer? If there's anyone using either or both of these products for web work I'd like to hear your opinions and/or suggestions. Thanks! Staff Callum Posted August 7, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 7, 2015 Hi David, Welcome to the forums! Affinity Photo definitely let you add text to photos. In terms of vector tools we have the pen, node and quick shape tools available in Affinity Photo. We will be releasing a trial version of Affinity Photo very soon so if you are still unsure of which program to get you could always wait for the trial. Hope this helps :) C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
