Hi I have these line strokes and i want to use them for my line art and etc. I am looking for an hour to do this but no solution. Can anyone tell me how can I save this lines so i can use them when i draw with pencil/brush? I am coming from Illustrator. I just bought Designer.

You would export them as PNG files, you can use the export persona to create slices and export them to a brush folder. Once you have them exported you can create brushes from the brush panel and select the PNG files to use as the shape.

Be aware that Affinity Designers vector brushes are actually raster images (this is why you export as PNG files) on a vector curve so not completely vector, i.e. you cannot expand the brushstroke should you want to distort it. I’m sure we will eventually get pure vector brushes using SVG files or some other vector format.

I don’t have the desktop version in front of me, but I save strokes with varying widths all the time. I think it’s under Profiles in the Stroke menu.

Although I mainly use the Pen tool, it should work with the Pencil tool too

This is what Barkeegan is talking about… this is the desktop versions pressure profile, I think it could be better titled; maybe stroke shape, this is not to be confused with the pressure profile under the brushes settings which is applied when using a stylus that is capable of interpreting levels of pressure applied at the nib
