firstdefence
You would export them as PNG files, you can use the export persona to create slices and export them to a brush folder. Once you have them exported you can create brushes from the brush panel and select the PNG files to use as the shape. Be aware that Affinity Designers vector brushes are actually raster images (this is why you export as PNG files) on a vector curve so not completely vector, i.e. you cannot expand the brushstroke should you want to distort it. I’m sure we will eventually get pure vector brushes using SVG files or some other vector format. Line strokes Here is what i want I don’t have the desktop version in front of me, but I save strokes with varying widths all the time. I think it’s under Profiles in the Stroke menu. Although I mainly use the Pen tool, it should work with the Pencil tool too
firstdefence
This is what Barkeegan is talking about… this is the desktop versions pressure profile, I think it could be better titled; maybe stroke shape, this is not to be confused with the pressure profile under the brushes settings which is applied when using a stylus that is capable of interpreting levels of pressure applied at the nib https://affinity.help/designer/English.lproj/pages/Painting/pressure.html Quote iMac 27" 2019 Somona 14.3.1, iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more...
