Good evening, I am a new user to Affinity Designer and I am loving the experience so far. I am also lucky enough to have the software on both my Mac Pro and my MacBook Air. I am wondering if the list of fonts is the same on both software versions. There seem to be some fonts missing from the MacBook version that are on the Mac Pro version. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

This does highly depend on your macOS versions and which fonts are system wide installed of those on the computers. Fonts are generic operating system wide shared resources here, thus you can add or remove fonts on every system on your demand. - So you can download missing or new ones and install them for example via a double click then.

☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2

I thought that may be the case. My Mac Pro desktop is currently running High Sierra and my laptop is running Catalina.

When you install software they can install additional fonts (like MS Office). It is also possible you have fonts installed but not activated, see your FontBook.
