Turning a rotated object into a non-rotated object?

Recommended Posts

Sounds cryptic? Of course. ;) Imagine the following: I have a cog wheel with 15 segments, after separation there are 15 boxes. Now I turn the top one into a text frame and write some text into it. Turning the second segment into a text frame I cannot perfectly center the text anymore. So my first thought was to rotate by 24° and write text into this segment, but this fails because of the rotation of 24°. What I now want is turning the whole rotated cog of 24° to be a 0° rotated cog. A kind of reset if you want. Or to be able to rotate text inside a text frame. I am sure there are other ways achieving what I want, I am just curious. Found it: After each rotation I have to use Geometry->Add for the segment to reset the rotation.
