Jusd
I need some help. When I open a raw file in Affinity photo (see appendix 1), AP makes the raw file darker (see appendix 2). When I reduce the darkness in develop persona the final result is too light. How can this be solved?.
carl123
Can you upload the Raw file? Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. carl123
It opens fine for me In the 32 Bit Preview panel (Develop Persona) Do you have ICC Display Transform selected? Staff Chris B Posted June 16, 2020 Staff Share Posted June 16, 2020 Thanks @carl123—this is the first thing to check Failing that @Jusd, you might be seeing the unmanaged preview issue that was fixed in the beta Also, make sure Windows Colour Management is using an sRGB display profile. Jusd
It always worked fine for me. Except today and yesterdat. How can I select ICC Display Transform?
carl123
Make sure View > Studio >32-bit Preview is ticked The panel may be hidden bottom right of the screen and the tab may just show 32P Depending on screen size I guess Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. carl123
You need to find this panel (below) and check if this option is selected Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Jusd
Strange .. If I immediately click on develop after opening a RAW file, the darkness disappears without any adjustment. Who knows how to fix this?
carl123
When in develop persona try minimising the app then maximising again, some people have said that cures it Also, you might want to try a total reset which means keep holding the CTRL key down then start the app When the reset dialogue appears select all options and hit clear Backup any custom Macros, Brushes, Assets etc beforehand Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Jusd
Carl, I minimized the app then maximized and the issue was resolved. Great and thanks Carl 🙂

Great and thanks Carl 🙂 This is potentially not the permanent solution. If you're using dual monitors, it's likely the wrong profile was being chosen or not at all and the image was appearing unmanaged. If this happened again, I would recommend using the beta I linked to.
