Expand Stroke Keyboard Shortcut

So, expanding stroke is one of the most common things I do. I use shapes to create negative space shapes constantly. I'd love any quick access.

 

#1. A keyboard shortcut.

 

#2. Right clicking should have a context option to expand.

With MAC OS you can create shortcuts for different applications, this way:

1. From MacOS, go to the  Apple menu and choose “System Preferences” and then go to the “Keyboard” preference panel
2. Choose the “Shortcuts” tab and then select ‘App Shortcuts’ from the left side menu
3. Click on the “+” plus button to create a new keyboard shortcut on the Mac
4. Next to ‘Application’ choose whether you want the keyboard shortcut to be used in all applications or a specific application (we are using ‘All Applications’ in this example)
5. Next to ‘Menu Title:” type the exact name of the menu option item you wish to create a keyboard shortcut for (in our example here we are using “Rename…” from the File menu)
6. Click into “Keyboard Shortcut:” and press down the exact keystroke you wish use for the keyboard shortcut you are making (in this example we are using Command+Control+E)
7. Click “Add” when finished
8. Open Affinity Designer navigate to  (Layer >  Expand Stroke, and you should see (Command+Control+E) next to Expand Stroke

Welcome to Affinity Forums
This shortcut (and a lot others) can be directly configured within Affinity Designer going to Affinity Designer Preferences, Keyboard Shortcuts section, setting the first dropdown to Designer (the Persona where the command is located) and the second to Layer (the menu where the command is located) then locating/searching for the command in question (Expand Stroke in this case) and assigning the desired shortcut (the listed commands follow the same order as the menus so it should be easy to find/locate them).
