georgigeorgiev
Hi there! A couple of days ago I added Affinity Designer to my iPad workflow and I’m loving it. Most of the functionality I need is there and in case it is not, I’ve found ways of achieving what I’m looking for using other methods (I’m an illustrator user on my PC) I’ve been looking for a way to replicate the functionality of Illustrators Blend tool. So far I’ve had partial success with the Power Duplicate function. I call it a partial success because I cannot create a transition from one shape to another. With power duplicate I can basically achieve Transform+Copy of Illustrator but when I tweak the curve of the shape and duplicate it basically resets the power duplication. Is there any way I can power duplicate while tweaking the curves? Lets say I make a shape, I duplicate it, I size it down, rotate it, tweak the curve and continue power duplicating? You can, you just need to begin the power duplicating process again once, you finish tweaking. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Like this, done in Photo but same steps in Designer. I use a keyboard for ^J power dulicate. FullSizeRender.mov DM1 1 Quote My dad always told me, a bad workman always blames their tools….
