I'm trying to find a way to warp drop shadows in Affinity.

In Craft Artist there is a tool that created a simple drop shadow (left image on both examples), and sliders that can warp the shadow so some parts of the object are closer to the page than other parts (right image in both examples).  I know how to use the Layer Effects in Afffinity to create the simple drop shadow.  How to I create the warped shadow in Affinity?

Bothe xamples below are done using Craft Artist.

Affinity photo has a mesh warp tool, so if you make a shadow on a separate layer and you can mesh warp that shadow.

If on the other hand you have Affinity Designer   , things are not so simple and you will have to edit the shape of the shadow via the node tool.

You can use the original art to create a selection, create a new pixel layer and that you then fill and blur.

To get just the shadow on a new layer, you can...

Copy the flower to a new layer
Add your shadow
Switch off "Fill knocks out shadow"
Set Fill Opacity to 0%
