How to draw Fingerprint Icon in Affinity Designer

Recommended Posts

An interesting way to do this. I do not have any need for such these days, but when I was writing my PhD on fingerprints in 1977, I  might well have found it useful. What you produced was a part-loop, but I can see how it could be extended to create arches and whorls.

It’s very similar to the ‘Touch ID’ icon in the iPad App Store.

What I was doing was exploring different multivariate statistical methods to investigate the inheritance of fingerprint patterns.
