Is it possible to create an interactive document within Affinity Publisher which is able to "collect" a recipient's signature?

Specifically what I mean is... I want to create a digital document which I would then send out to people, who would digitally sign it, and send it back to me.

I'd be grateful for any advice.

Welcome to the forums.
The short answer is currently (as of 1.8.3): No, not within Publisher itself.
However, someone might be able to give you some idea of other software which you can feed your PDF into to get that working.

I would love to see that too. It may actually be a reason to convince my company to acquire some licenses. We used acrobat pro before but they do not have support anymore for the license they had and they are checking now for new software. I suggested Affinity but the lack of electronic signature means they would need additional software, even if affinity is more powerful and has more features that the alternative they are considering 🤔
