Joachim_L Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Whenever I open an IDML having picture frames, the "converted" picture frames in APu have the names of the linked images (incl. file suffix). First of all, this is nice, because I'll find the images faster in the Layers panel instead of having lots of picture frames called "Picture frame". Irritating is, when the image e.g. example.psd is replaced by an other image, the picture frame is stll called example.psd. Would it be a good idea, when placing images in picture frames - not talking about the IDML way here - the layer Picture frame has the same name as the placed file? And of course changing the layer name, when the image is replaced? Sorry for the bad English. fde101 Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 If I have a frame that I name "dog picture" I don't want it being renamed to IMG_3456 when I put a photo in it. Quote
