Nothing but frustration brings me to write this. I’ve been attempting to create something meaningful using Affinity Photo for over a year and it still confuses the hell out of me. And I’ve been a photoshop user for 25 years. Just the simple act of trimming a photo, selecting part of it, copying that part and pasting it in another photo is nothing but a nightmare. And why have Pixel and paint layers? And why does a black brush only paint in transparency on a layer that has been brought over? Why is the selection three times larger than the picture I have just brought over? My frustration never ends. Are the programmers on drugs? I am giving up. Oh, by the way, I bought your two hardback books and worked my way through them. That was £70 I’ve never get back. It’s a BADLY designed program.

Why is this your 1st (and only) post in over a year?

This forum could have answered all your queries if you just posted as and when you needed to know something

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
