Petar Petrenko Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Hi, When I select "Preferences > Photoshop Plugins", Photo freezes immediately. I can close it only with right click on the thumbnail icon on Windows taskbar, but I can't reopen it until I restart Windows. I tried twice with the same result. Staff Chris B Posted June 10, 2020 Staff Posted June 10, 2020 Hey Petar Petrenko, Have you tried installing any plugins? Sounds like there might be a bad plugin or path somewhere. Might be worth attaching a dump file whilst the app is in this state. You can create one from Task Manager by right-clicking on Affinity Photo. It might be worth safely resetting the app to see if it launches. We can re-instate the folder number to restore any settings if the app runs up after the reset. Affinity Store - Go to %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0 and rename 1.0 to 1.1 or Microsoft Store - Go to %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0 (Store) and rename 1.0 to 1.1 Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
Petar Petrenko Posted June 10, 2020 Author Posted June 10, 2020 Thanks, Chris. Renaming the folder was the solution. It works now. Staff Chris B Posted June 11, 2020 Staff Posted June 11, 2020 If you have the 1.1 folder, would you mind attaching it (zip it up) so I can try and reproduce this? Ideally we would want to avoid freezing! Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
