janey
I am new to Affinity Photo. Does anyone have quick easy steps to remove a background and add a white background. It is for a photograph of a person. Thanks

janey
Thanks for your reply. Could you send assistance for changing the background using a MacBook as this is for iPads. I have looked but don't see the selection persona this tutorial indicates. Much appreciated.
Blende21
Maybe try this: https://youtu.be/StH4Lg5EeWQ The channel has a lot more good tutorials, most of them free. They may not all be from the latest version, but usually it works as shown.
janey
Re Affinity Photo on Macbook: Two questions. 1 Thanks for your suggestions which have been helpful. I have added a white background but the hair now has a kind of halo effect and looks as if it is superimposed on the white background. How do I blend the silhouette. Do I have to start again or can I work on this which I saved to my desktop 2 As the photo was taken in bright light, the blonde hair looks white, Is it possible to darken it slightly? if so, any easy ways to do this? Many thanks
