Hi iRahz,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

You will have to save it in Affinity Photo's native format .afphoto.

To do it just do a File ▹ Save As..., or just a Save if you already saved it earlier in this format.

Affinity may also prompt you to save it this format if you have opened a jpg or any other generic format and you have added layers/adjustments/filters or other specific Affinity Photo's features so you can keep them to edit later.

Wow, thanks for the quick response!

I will give it a try when I get home.

Thanks for your input! :)

You will be able to use APh files in AD, AD files in APu and APu files in APh etc. The files are basically the same. The different file extensions just tells you and your Mac, which app the artwork was created in and which app to fire up when you click on it.

If you want to Flatten your image, i.e make it a JPG/PNG etc then use the Export as function. As there is no equivalent reader app (think of Adobe Reader, for those who just want to view, but not edit PDFs). This would then make you image visible, to all.
