Help with gradients on corners

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to create a line with corners in it that follows a nice uniform gradient, but I don't know how to do it. Making a vector brush makes the gradient look really bad. I've attached a photo of what I mean. Imagine that line turning at the first corner, then straightening out at the second corner. I want the entire composite line to follow the same gradient so it looks uniform.

How do I do this? Thanks!

I think the first thing you can try would be to use a Contour Outline Layer Effect as in my attached image (gaudy colours used just to show the effect).
There will be other ways but this is probably the quickest option.

Thankyou! This works well!
