lepr Posted June 3, 2020 Share Posted June 3, 2020 You should be able to paint with levels of grey from black through to white into the quick mask (that's why it exists), so maybe it has something to do with your brush settings. Wosven Posted June 3, 2020 Share Posted June 3, 2020 Did you tried baking one of the Basic brushes, checking to have 100% opacity and flow, etc.? Check the mode: normal, no wet edges or Alpha protection? Check to get the black and white colours from the swatches panel ("other B & W" can be tricky), and invert foreground/background: sometimes, it does the trick when I can paint, I don't know why, since there's no "stroke" / "background" selected, teorically.
