kwaaui
Selecting a font collection in the Character panel shows the previously selected collection, instead of the one selected. So, for example, if I select the "Sans" collection I see whatever was previously on (e.g.: All Fonts), then I select the "Serif" collection and I get to see list of fonts included in the Sans collection. Staff Sean P Posted June 4, 2020 Staff Share Posted June 4, 2020 Hi kwaaui, Thanks for letting us know - this is something we're aware of and is currently with development to fix. I will pass your comments on. We have something very similar to this reported as a Windows only issue, I've tried reproducing it on Mac (both Catalina and Mojave) but each selecting each category is showing the correct list of fonts. Would you mind getting a screen recording from a fresh run of the application that demonstrates the problem please?
kwaaui
Hello Sean, thanks for your reply. I actually just realised that the behaviour is different from what I described before. It looks like a bad positioning problem, apparently. The font collection I select corresponds to the one above, not to any previous one. I attach the screen recording for reference. Staff Sean P Posted June 5, 2020 Staff Share Posted June 5, 2020 Hi Kwaaui, Thanks for the video that has been most helpful, especially showing your Font Book collection. Initially I was unable to reproduce the issue, then I noticed you had a category called 'Favourites' in your Font Book. We have our own category also called Favourites (fonts that you 'heart' are displayed inside it). Essentially it is de-duplicating this category, which is causing all the other entries to be incorrect by one. If you temporarily rename your Favourites category in Font Book, can you re-run up Affinity and see if the collections are now listing correctly for you please? I will get this passed on to development. kwaaui
kwaaui
Hello Sean, That's right, after renaming my Favourites collection in Font Book the collections in Affinity are listing correctly. Thank you Sean P
