Can't import any raster brushes

Recommended Posts

Hello,

yesterday I bought Christi du Toit brushes from your shop, unfortunately I can't import them to affinity designer (iPad). I did import and selected the brush file from my icloud. The designer appeared and I saw for 2 seconds a downloading spinner in the bottom of the canvas. This is the end, the application freezes. I repeated that multiple times wit the same bad result.

I tried also another brushes. I wasn't able to import any raster brush, but I imported all vector brushes.

I'm using affinity designer 1.8.3.2 on ipad pro 12.9 (2018)

Regards

Martin

Are you sure you're using the option inside the app from Brushes Studio > Preferences Icon > Import Brushes and not selecting the brushes using the Files app outside of Designer?

If so could you attach a screen recording showing the process you're taking and then attach a copy of the brushes as well please?

I was 100% sure, but I opened the brush panel when I was at vector environment. That brush panel stayed open when I switched to raster environment and I tapped to import which didn't finish well.

I realize that maybe that was wrong. So I did a new try and I switched to raster environment at first and then opened the brush panel. I was able to finish the import. There was also a pretty interesting surprise, I have received three instances of the brushes I just imported.

Overall I'm fine, I was able to finish the import.

thank you

Martin
