Erl_J
Aloha y'all. . . I'm curious about building a family-tree structure in a horizontal fashion across a two-page spread. I have all three Affinity flavors - so building it in Photo or Designer is no obstruction here. My best notion to this point is to build a table, input the data as I need... then go back and hide the unused lines and boxes to give it a more specifically-designed appearance... in that fashion, I use as many as I need as I go and won't need to design it in completed form before I start putting names into it... (IF that gibberish makes any sense to anyone else but me...LOL) * * * Any hints or tips are welcomed... IF anyone needs more detailed information about what I'm specifically trying to do, I can supply that. * * * Born on Maui Isle, Home now, North Carolina; Aloha y'all. . . Staff DWright Posted June 24, 2020 Staff Share Posted June 24, 2020 You can also use Picture frame and Text frames to lay out the family tree then use the Pen tool to add the connections and this will allow you more freedom in the design.
