Affinity Photo Sharpening with paint brush tool

Recommended Posts

In the tutorial "Sharpening with the paint brush tool"  the picture in the right panel is listed as blue  layer - how and why is this done - in my panel it is grey and can't be s almost be seen  ?

The picture  (blue) text is mark only as pixel ? when I open a picture it is mark as black background layer

Hi, it is simply that the composition has been merged into a single pixel layer for the tutorial, and it is selected so it appears blue. It does not affect the adding of a live filter layer which is what happens in the video. You will be able to add a live filter to your Background layer and achieve the same result in the video.

Hope that helps!
