When holding 'option' and dragging an object to copy it, the copied object doesn't snap to any guides. I have to release it first and then move it again to position it to snap. It should be able to snap as I drag the copied version to where I want it. This adds a redundant step to copying an object.

Holding Option while dragging (or Alt on Windows) is defined as making a copy and ignoring snapping. If you want to copy and still snap, i think you could use Cmd instead of Opt, as shown in the status bar.

What I do is hold Option/Alt click and drag then release Option and I have a copy and snapping is enabled as I continue to drag.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Thanks — I'll do that. New user coming from indesign, so figuring out new ways of doing things.
