Purchased The Wrong Version of Affinity

Recommended Posts

Newbie Affinity here. I recently purchased the Affinity photo version of the software instead of the designer version by mistake.
Adobe servers crashed yesterday and was a bit in panic mode when I purchased the product. Yes, I know that this is my mistake.

However, I would like to know if it's possible for Affinity to exchange the product somehow, whether that means disabling the product key and allow me to download
the version that I needed. Has anyone been a similar predicament.

Just thought that I would ask. I will probably just purchase the product either way, but wanted to avoid paying for a second product that I rather not have.

Hi Kay803,

Thanks for your post.

Could I get you to email me directly? Please send an email to affinityorders@serif.com and quote my name, Adam.

I'll look into this further for you, from that point.

Thanks,

Adam 🙂

I have the exact problem kay803 has.

I accidentally purchased the wrong app.
It's my mistake - I bought Affinity publisher instead of Affinity designer.
I will never use Affinity publisher, because i only need Affinity designer to draw digitally.

Is there any way to switch the application?
I am kind of frustrated because i was looking forward to using Affinity designer
Thank you for helping me

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @olli7220.

If you purchased directly from Serif (not from Apple or Microsoft) then you can return the application for a full refund within the first 14 days after purchase. Just email affinityreturns@serif.com to begin the process.
