StopWatchingMeWeirdo
Hi guys, First time poster, long time viewer. I decided to pick up Affinity Photo the other day and I am really unfamiliar with it. When I try to resize an image, the quality drops off a lot and it looks blurry and distorted. Anyone have advice how to correcT this? I appreciate any help. Thanks!

StopWatchingMeWeirdo
Hi iRahz, Welcome, How are you resizing your image? is it by exporting from Photo? Allan Hi Allan, Thanks for you response. I open an image in Affinity Photo. I then want to resize it, so I go to Document - Resize Document - And choose the size I like. But after it resizes, the quality becomes terrible. Perhaps I am doing something wrong? If there is a different way to resize an image, please do share. I'm all ears! Thanks again iRahz
tiltowait
Most likely, you are using Nearest Neighbor (default) resizing. Try Lanczos non-separated (really, anything will be better than Nearest Neighbor, unless you're doing pixel art ...).

Staff MEB Posted January 18, 2016 Staff Share Posted January 18, 2016 Hi iRahz, Go to Document ▸ Resize then select Bicubic or one of the Lanczos options from the Resample dropdown on bottom of the dialog.
