theartofsaul
So I am running into this strange bug when I resize or move the Affinity Photo application itself. IT shows up fine when I first open the file, but the moment I drag the application around or resize the window it will cause the image to shift in color (gamma maybe?). The only way to remedy this is to close the image and re-open it in app or to completely close the app and re-open it. This does not occur on lower dynamic range files and is only happening on high dynamic range image format. Oddly enough the small Navigator preview looks normal as I would expect it to look. So something strange is happening whenever I move/resize the affinity photo application window itself. Any help is appreciated, thanks! -Saul System Info: Latest version of Affinity Photo 1.8.3.641 on Windows 10 Chris B
Staff Chris B Posted May 27, 2020 Staff Share Posted May 27, 2020 Hey Saul, welcome to the Affinity Forums. This should be fixed in the beta. This was an issue relating to display profiles not being correctly utilized. Moving the app around the screen or min/maxing it would temporarily show this. If you don't want to use the beta, you can do a reset on the app: Affinity Store - Go to %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0 and rename 1.0 to 1.1 or Microsoft Store - Go to %AppData%\Affinity\Photo\1.0 (Store) and rename 1.0 to 1.1 You can acccess the AppData folder by pressing the Windows key + R on your keyboard and then just type %AppData% Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials

Hopefully this gets fixed in another build in the future. Thanks for the help.
Staff Chris B Posted June 9, 2020 Staff Share Posted June 9, 2020 So even the beta hasn't fixed this? The 1.8.3 retail may continue to display this incorrectly however the beta should fix this for good.
