Layer sorting Function

Hope there will be a sorting Layer function by Alphabet (Name of layer), Color, Size, ect.

Hi @Rondem,

I think this does not work as it is currently. The layer order is also a represetation of the stacking order of the objects. If you sort them by name or any other attribute you effectively would destroy your design.

To include such a functionality they had to introduce (invent) something like an 'attribute view' of the layers that can be filtered in different ways without changing the stacking order. There have been discussions in this direction in the context of 'select similar', e.g. here:
