I recently purchased Affinity Designer for my iPad and did not have to set up an account to start using it. I assume it creates one with my apple ID yet when I try to log onto my affinity account on desktop it says there is no account associated with the email. Your purchase for the iPad was from the Apple Store, so you won't have an Affinity account. And you don't need one.
