I just started in AF as I want to move completely from PS to AF. Even there my skills are very limited. I dont know where to find the recolor adjustment layer and I have no clue about alpha channel. Old Bruce Posted May 23, 2020 Share Posted May 23, 2020 Alpha channels are just the 'clear' parts of pictures that are square but only have pixels with colour in the middle of the square, don't worry too much right now. The Adjustments are in the layers Menu or at the bottom of the Layers panel Click on the circle to see the list. Boris.afphoto Turn the recolour layers on and off by checking the box in the layers panel, double click on the little icon to see the way you can change the colours. In all honor to Boris, but I cant look at your file any second longer, pls excuse me! Anyway somehow it doesnt work. I have an image and I need to select an object, which is grey/black and I need to change in color. In Photoshop according to the tutorial it works great and when I open the file in AF it works great too. But I cant accomplish 'almost' the same procedure in AF. Old Bruce Posted May 23, 2020 Share Posted May 23, 2020 Sorry I wasn't clear, the better way is to use the Recolour Layer as demonstrated in the video, you just have to make the mask so other stuff doesn't get coloured.
