Directly purchasing from Affinity is a very easy process and — in my opinion — the way to go during these virus times when everybody is struggling. That's a bit odd. It was 50% off (£23.99) across all the stores – as I saw it myself, but for some reason it's now showing as normal price (£48.49) only on the Microsoft Store. I’m sure that’s all it is. The offer was initially set to expire on 20 April but it was extended to 20 May, and that extension apparently found its way to the Microsoft Store. There has now been a final extension to 20 June, but it seems that only the Affinity Store and Apple’s App Stores (MAC and iOS) are currently showing this.
