Gazu
Hey Guys, is it possible to remove the Tripodshadow in Affinity Photo Raw Developer? Pulling the Shadow Slider to the right makes the shadows brighter, yes, but not enough. Is there a way to completely remove the shadow in Raw Development? Thanks! Old Bruce
Hello and welcome to the forums @Gazu There is the Overlay panel in the Develop persona which will allow you to paint on the shadow and then adjust the exposure of that area only. Personally I would develop the RAW file then use the regular tools to select the shadow in Photo persona simply because of the ability to create Spare Channels from the selections and work on the shadow using the spare channels for selections. It just gives you the advantage of saving the file and coming back later in the day or week. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
IanSG
Depending on where the shadow is you might be able to get away with simply inpainting or cloning. Either way it's not something you can do in the Develop persona. Quote AP, AD & APub user, running Win10
