Ability to remap modifier keys back to the MAC standard when transforming an image

Recommended Posts

I know this has been discussed in other topics, but I saw one of the moderators suggest someone start a new thread to make sure it doesn't get lost in the shuffle as an upcoming feature request.

Many here, including myself, have voiced their displeasure in not being able to remap the modifier keys back to the Mac standard when transforming an image.

Currently, all of the Affinity products use their own "proprietary" set of modifier keys instead of using the standard keys that have been used for decades in every other image editing application on the Mac platform, those being the "option" key to scale an object symmetrically from the center, "shift" to constrain the aspect ration and "command" to transform independently.

Please give us the option to switch to this standard if we so choose.  Thank you.

It would be good insert links to these threads so as not to lose context.
