Improvements / Fixes

- Improved PNG import
- Fixed small radial and zoom blur artefacts.
- Improve Develop performance when using Chromatic Aberration.
- Pressing return key should commit a mesh warp.
- Made the Black channel of CMYK visible on the histogram.
- Fixed HSL and hex readouts in the info panel.
- Attempted more fixes for users with inconsistently available system fonts.
- Default JPEG export quality tweaks (may require ctrl-run and clear).
- Fixed vignette tool hintline.
- Fixed maximum / minimum blur sliders.

- Fix for users running OS X 10.11 El Capitan Beta.
- Improvements to vector export - particularly when converting colour formats.
- Only show items in Export Persona which will be visible in the export.
- Print what is shown in the view (i.e. do not honour exportability settings when printing, unless in Export Persona at the time).
- Added ability to zoom to 100% by double-clicking the Zoom Tool's icon or 'Zoom to Fit' by double-clicking the View Tool.
- Zoom Tool now zooms in/out during mouse drag about the drag start location. Zooming to a rectangle is still available by holding Alt/Option.

When you released the very welcome update to the printing UI some releases back, it was mentioned that this was still a work in progress.  Hope it is still on the radar, and if you'd like a hint or two - the ability to print a "contact sheet" of several small photos on an A4 (or US letter, or larger) sheet, and if you could mimic the Aperture UI in regards to the thumbnail changing in real time if/when you change any of the printer settings  B).

Oh, and Media Browser ...

Thanks!

The Beta is more advanced than the current MAS version despite the version numbers.

That´s exactly the reason for me being worried...

In my professional career, more often than I care to remember have I seen old bugs reintroduced with new versions of highly professional (even system-) software, just because there was no correct versioning system in place. Mainly with Unix servers because that´s what we used at the time, but also with high end customer management software on MS Windows Server, in use at my last job.

@JasperD: Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo are different GUIs on top of the same rendering/fx/import/export core (that's a very clever thing and ensures both apps grow together and can interoperate with each others file formats). As you will see, both the Designer and Photo betas are now at v1.3.1.26820. The beta version number has nothing to do with the version it will be released as. And if you've ever worked with Git you know that version numbers don't matter. You merge all changes from one branch (beta) to the other (stable) when it's ready for release, and Git grabs all differences between the two branches. Nothing will regress or be accidentally left behind.
