How do I apply the new presets to an existing document?

Recommended Posts

I guess I could make a new doc with the Instagram sizes and then copy everything from one file over to the other but it seems like a strange workaround. Also I wonder if there is a way to select multiple presets at the same time when creating a new file? One of the most common uses would be to have a single design used in several different social layouts. I wouldn't want to make a separate file for each.

I'm not sure why Document Setup offers only Print and Presets, Kip. If you start with a Print document you'll only have the Print and Presets options available in Spread Setup, Kip.

But given that it does offer Presets, you can:

  1. Use File > New and choose the Social Media preset that you want. Make any adjustments that are needed (or none at all). Then
  2. Click the + sign to create your own preset. Then
  3. Switch to My Presets so you can rename the preset you just created.

At that point it will become available in Spread Setup when you've chosen Presets rather than Print.
