Whenever I open the app Pandora stops playing and and the Pandora app has to be reopened stopped and played again. This can be quite frustrating. I understand that Affinity has no organizational affiliation with Pandora, but I think most creators would appreciate being able to use the app while playing music in the background on their iPad. It might be worth popping a support ticket over to Pandora as well as I'm not sure who would be at fault here. I just tested this on my iPad Pro, 10.5 (iPadIOS 13.4.1) and Pandora plays, without interruption, while opening and editing in Affinity Photo.
