Hi, I am wondering if there is a Problem Opening a vektor EPS that I bought from a stock library, it seems to be displayed completely off. Any idea anyone?

I have attached a screenshot from Designer with the weird appearance and the original JPG corresponding to the EPS that I purchased.

Thanks a lot,

Christian

Hi, in this case the Affinity EPS parser might have during parsing in and interpreting that EPS file mixed up the order and origin positioning (x/y = 0/0) of the original layer structures and their positioning. This is often the case and a common weakness of the Affinity EPS parser.

You have to open that EPS in Designer and take a look over the layers in the layers panel, there you have to rearange positions (ordering of layers top to down) and look after offset layers (aka layers whose x and y position aren't at 0, 0 etc.) and fix those in the transformation panel. - In other words, with AD you have to try to manually fix misinterpreted parsed in things. Or use some other third party vector tool which hopefully can deal better with such EPS files and try to export as PDF/SVG for exchange from that one then.
