Randolph
Is there any way I can create a private spelling book that is only used with a particular project? I'm working on a big book with a lot of unusual names and obscure words, and I would rather these not become part of my standard spelling dictionary. trichens
Well you can use the Ignore Spelling option which appears to add the word to the current file "dictionary" but not to the overall system dictionary. Just tried this and it will not highlight my spelling mistakes in the file where I have set them to be ignored, but when I open a new file and enter the same mispelled word it gets highlighted as being wrong. Will this achieve what you need?
walt.farrell
When performing a SpellCheck operation (or right-clicking on a word that is shown as misspelled while typing, you have two choices that you need to understand: 1. Learn will add the word to the dictionary, making it valid for all projects in that language. 2. Ignore will add the word to a list of words that should be considered correct for the current project. It will not be added to the dictionary, and this won't affect other projects.
