brunoczech Posted May 15, 2020 Share Posted May 15, 2020 Hi guys, I think this is a bug - I have a floating Studio Tool - Pages - and when I try to change the text font it is hidden behind this floating tool. However - when I go to font weight, it overlaps the tool window. Which I believe is the right behaviour. Because as of now I need to move the Pages window to the side every single time to see available fonts. Not good. See screenshots. Cheers! Old Bruce Posted May 17, 2020 Share Posted May 17, 2020 I have my pages panel docked to the left side and so this problem is gone. If you must have the pages panel undocked (for whatever reason, the way you work etc) you can double click on the tab and it will collapse down to just the height of the word Pages, then a single click on the word Pages will expand it again. You can also set up a shortcut to show hide the Pages panel and or set up the pages panel in the left studio and then set up a shortcut for the left studio to show hide. brunoczech Posted May 18, 2020 Author Share Posted May 18, 2020 I didn't have Pages panel docked because with most of the documents I worked on I only used it time to time. And since working on the laptop I need that extra space all the time. I guess I'll have it docked from now on then. My point however was that it's weird that the panel is above one contextual menu and below another menu. At least the behaviour should be consistent. And apparently it can be shown above the menu - this should be normal behaviour. You can show and hide the pages panel using the menu View->Studio->Pages, or you could also assign a keyboard shortcut to the same item, which I think is what Bruce was suggesting.
