Lothar_SA Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 Maybe I am just using it wrong or don't understand it - but no matter what type of invalid hyperlink I add, the preflight check doesn't mark any of it. Neither an unavailable website nor an obvious spelling error like "ww.c." will be reported. Both of it would be really helpful. What type of error is it looking for? And yes, I switched on the checking: I am using Windows: 10Pro: Affinity Publisher 1.8.3.641
Staff Jon P Posted May 15, 2020 Staff Posted May 15, 2020 It's main purpose is to check for links that no longer exist within the document. For example if you create a hyperlink to page 10, then delete page 10 it will report an invalid hyperlink. Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
Lothar_SA Posted May 15, 2020 Author Posted May 15, 2020 Ok, got it. But to me it looks like its the only purpose and there are obviously other hyperlinks too which needs to be checked. Can you please move this to suggestions? Thanks.
Staff Jon P Posted May 18, 2020 Staff Posted May 18, 2020 We actually already have a suggestion logged for checking external URLs, but i'll give it a nudge Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
