Hello, I am new with Affinity Designer. At work I used Adobe Illustrator. Affinity Designer I want to use for my work at home. Now I have a quastion. Why are some contours that edited with the brush tool converted into Images when exported to EPS and are pixelated? Best regards from Germany - Jeanett

Because the vector brush tool is a raster image (png) on a vector curve, consequently when exported it gets rasterised.

Thanks for the answer. :)What can I do to get this contour as a vector? Is it possible to use it in some way? Or have I to draw it as an objekt? And how is it with the speckled contour? Have I to draw many little circles? That would be a lot of work. Hui..

Honestly you are going to have headaches if you are trying to do work between Illustrator and Designer. They do similar things but not on par with each other. If you are using Adobe CC at work you can install all the apps on 2 computers (more if you want, just have to deactivate other ones which can be done remotely). I have Adobe CC at work and on my laptop so I can work from home if I need to.
